How do I create an invoice with this tool?

Fill in your company details (step 3), add the client information, set the invoice number and dates (step 4), then add your line items with descriptions, quantities, and rates (step 5). The totals are calculated automatically including discounts and taxes. When ready, click Export PDF to generate a professional invoice.

How do I export or download my invoice?

Click the Export PDF button at the bottom actions bar. A new window will open with your formatted invoice — use your browser's print dialog (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) to save it as a PDF file. You can also send it directly via Email or WhatsApp using the dedicated buttons.

What currencies and languages are supported?

The tool supports 10 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, COP, ARS, BRL, CLP, PEN, and CAD. It also supports 4 languages for the invoice output: English, Spanish (Español), Portuguese (Português), and French (Français). You can change both in the Invoice Settings section at the top.

How does the QR code for payments work?

In step 7 (Payment & Notes), paste any payment link — PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, or any URL. A QR code will be automatically generated and included on the PDF, so your clients can scan it with their phone to pay you instantly.

Are my invoices saved? Can I access them later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every time you export a PDF, the invoice is automatically saved to your browser's local storage (up to 50 invoices). Click the History button at the top to view, load, or duplicate any previous invoice. Your current draft is also auto-saved as you type, so you won't lose work if you close the browser.

What are recurring invoices?

If you check 'This is a recurring invoice' in step 4, you can set a frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly). This will add a note on the PDF indicating the recurrence schedule and the next invoice date. It's a reminder — you'll still need to manually create the next invoice.

Is my data safe? Do you store it on a server?

Your data never leaves your browser. Everything — drafts, company info, invoice history — is stored in your browser's local storage only. We don't send any data to our servers. This means your financial information stays completely private and under your control.

Can I use this tool on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the invoice generator is fully responsive and works on mobile devices. On smaller screens, the line items switch to a card layout for easier editing. You can also install TrucosYApp as a PWA (Progressive Web App) from your browser for an app-like experience.
